A sentence is enough. Names and setting help.

A title has one job on a storefront: make the right reader stop. That is mostly genre signalling. A cosy mystery and a techno-thriller are not competing for the same glance, and their titles should not look alike.

The options below are written against the conventions of the genre you pick, so a fantasy suggestion reads as fantasy and a business book reads as a promise. Take one, or take the half of one that works and write the rest yourself.

Common questions

Can I use these titles commercially?
Yes. Titles are not protected by copyright, and we claim nothing over what this produces. Search the title on Amazon before committing to it — a title that is already carried by a well-known book in your genre will cost you discoverability, even though using it is legal.
Do I need an account?
No. This tool is free and needs no sign-up. There is a limit on how often it can be used from one connection, to keep it available.
What makes a good book title?
It signals genre in the first glance, it is easy to say out loud and to search for, and it promises something specific. Length matters less than most people think; clarity matters more.
